Standups are a blast to ride, but IMHO are geared for more localized riding. If thats what your doing they are perfect.

Ex: great for a cottage / small lake where you are out riding in front for 20 minutes then come back, beach it, and take a break, let someone else ride, fill up w/ fuel, etc. Kids would always fight over who gets to ride it.

Bring home to the big lake, and by the time you get from A to B the rider is already wiped and you need fuel. Then you have to carry oil etc. This is where they are nowhere near as fun as a sit down.

When you reach high school weight i'll lenghten the rope a bit.

Those will be awesome, have fun on the rebuild/resto.

I dont give a rats ass whether it is a boat, jet ski, go cart, or anything else. Whenever a dad can have the opportunity to spend some great time with their kids doing something away from the computer it is a win! More than just a couple of old jet skiis, you will definitely build some memories. I know you are a busy guy and kudos to you to spending time with your kids.

take a minute and listen to the lyrics:

We will just run them around behind the house - no long distance rides - that's what the boat is for.

Still enjoying it too much to sell. Might redo the cushions this winter since they are original from 78 and are starting to show some wear haha

Thanks Jeff - yes, kids love summer around here. I could do without pulling them on the tubes so much, but I guess those days will pass quickly so I'll put up with it for another couple years...

Look into a Yamaha Superjet or a FX1 , much better ski than the old Kaws. My nephew owns both and him and his standup buddies wear drysuits and ride Lake Michigan out of Grand Haven until the ice forms, they also ride creeks, and yes their young and stupid.

Rich Maccluggage used ride out of the beach site I used to parasail out of down here in Naples. I've seen him get Stupid air playing in the breakers.

I still have 2 1995 550sx's.
Son got the bug and has been wrenching on, building, painting, and restoring as many as my poor garage can hold.
Had an older Super Jet.
Had a 1998 750sxi.
Used to enjoy riding so much, that I bought my house on inland lake years ago.
Still here
