You may of missed this also in that thread by Glenamy

Hardin has the one for the recirculating pump hose, it is not in the catalogue so you need to call and ask it's stainless. The one from the oil cooler I picked up on line and it is brass that one is 1-1/4" I believe. The one from Hardin I am not sure of the size you will need to measure.

Try calling Hardin they have stuff that is not on their web, I believe that is where I got mine.
Here is a Stainless one from McMaster p/n 53605K34
There are also brass ones available.

Slow day for me.
Google come up with easy solutions also for barbed couplings.
Way cheaper than the Mcmaster and probably Hardin.

Fresh water or Salt?
Open or closed cooling system?
Consider these factors when deciding.

Thanks cheech. I bought a lot of stuff from Summit but for some reason, I always head to Hardin or CP for my boat stuff. I've got a few emails into Merc and If I don't get an answer on the hose, this is what I will be buying. Thanks again for the help and the link.
Do you happen to know if I need to run that bypass hose from the top of the water pump to the intake manifold? I see some with and some without. Maybe it's a "pros and cons" thing? Thanks again.

I did look for the hose part number 32-847677A01 and it shows no longer available. I'm hoping \ thinking they have a replacement?

Yes, I neglected to think that far ahead regarding the aluminum and steel ones.
So brass or stainless would be best choices.

So Mercury got back to me in an email and also a phone call. I couldn't believe they actually called me for such a small item. Anyway, the hose is "No Longer Available" and as far as they could tell, nobody in the country has one laying around. Thanks to this site I ordered a couple of the couplers and will cut and extend what I have. Thanks to everyone for your input.
