I've been waiting for them to put a 90* gear box in the bilge and start dropping the powerheads in like inboards, similar to the jet boats of the early 2000's. Yeah its not a clamp on but it could be dam close and look 1,000,000 times better

Why not throw another 12 degrees +/- on that 90 and use the shaft strut and rudder or is thaf what your saying.
those optimax powerhead whaler jetboat is cool ( think it was whaler)

yeah that’s what I’m saying, or even a 90* to an out drive but that may be too tall to fit under most hatches.

Inboard boats just look so much better

I think 31’.

The guy I built boats for in Fla started w/a 25’ Bertram and added, I think, 2’ beam, 3’ to length, and added a pad to the bottom and converted to twin OB!

Very cool boat!

You could see the Bertram lineage in it.
