Believe it or not, I put in 4.5 hours YESTERDAY (started at 5:00 am so I was good and hungry when the turkey came out of the oven!!!!). Tripple time though, work 4.5 get paid for 13.5. Not a bad deal considering all I would have been doing for those hours was sleeping.

Today (Friday) I worked for 5 hours at double time and a half. 5 hours work, 12.5 hours pay. Again, all I would have been doing is sleeping anyway. Took a nap this afternoon....dinner with the girlfriends famdamly tonight. Should be interesting.....most of them don't really get along.

I'll do the same thing pretty much between the holidays. I have the whole week off with pay, but will go in and work anyway. Make good money, and the plant is pretty laid back during that week too.

, but I just remembered I'm scheduled to work 4p-12m New Years Eve

Oh well , I'll have to live with double time and a half

Let's see- Wed- 9 at work, 2 1/2 at home, Turkey Day- 8 off with pay, 11 hours at home for time and a half, Friday-9 at work at time and a half, I guess that'll work next payday.

worked...13 hours...it sucked...NO REST FOR THE WICKED...I can relate to both Chris and Tinker....my company filed chapter 11 last week...13 yrs with them...they never should have sold out....oh well...
