Best for rough seas?

I have a 42 outerlimits legacy. Its awesome in the big stuff and super stable.

For a rule of thumb, there are some things in general that make a boat good in rough water.
Longer length
Heavier weight
Narrower beam
More deadrise
More stringers and bulkheads

Just about any full displacement hull over 50 feet will be a nice comfy ride,,,, slow but what the heck.

I found most don't like to run in rough, everyone talks about how good their boat is but get over steady 3's and no one likes to. (always big holes in there).

Its never fun for the crew.

One quick look back and you'll see if they're having fun, 95% of the time they're not. If I wanted to run in the slop I went out alone or with a hard-core buddy that loved it.
