Default Vesselview 7 lying around?

Hi Folks.

Despite a very broken marina industry in S FL I am planning to upgrade the SwampLizard to 496s as soon as I can get "permission" to haul my boat.

Looking to add some smarts to the dash gauges I have. Anyone got a functional Vessel View 7 and cables lying around? I'd like to keep GPS and EFI stats separated but always in view.

worth a shot!

thanks

Make it easy on yourself and just get the Vessel View Mobile dongle and use a tablet/Smartphone to connect.

From what I understand you can connect nema 2000 to the 496 motors. If I keep current boat that will be in the future. All garmin systems.

Which dongle? I use something in my diesel van that works like a charm. I assume Merc requires a special dongle.

https://www.mercurymarine.com/en/us/...elview-mobile/

It is a Bluetooth transmitter that you hook into the Smartcraft backbone on your engines. Twin's will require a junction box. Once it is all setup, you download the VVM app onto your Smartphone or Tablet and you have all the Smartcraft data.
