Boat not getting on plane

Hi i have a problem putting my 14ft open buccaneer boat on plane since i recently fitted a 6hp suzuki 4 stroke auxiliary outboard..main outboard is a 25hp 2stroke yamaha..
I put both 25lts fuel tanks in front instead of the back due to weight distribution..
To be honest I feel safer since i have the auxiliary but the thing that its not planing its really bothering me.
I only managed to get it on plane when i run both of them at the same time
With the 25hp on 3/4 of the throttle and 1/2 throttle on the 6hp
My question is it safe to run them both together?

To be honest i only got the auxiliary just for safety reasons because few years ago i had a bad experience with a new outboard that seized when i was 10miles from shore and i just never felt safe without auxiliary after that..

How deep do you have the 25hp set? The added weight of the kicker motor might be lowering the transom just enough to make a difference. I've always had the best luck running small hp motors as high as possible.

Is the boat a fwd steering (with steering wheel) or do you sit at the back? (tiller steer)
If it’s a tiller steer, try an extension on the tiller so you can sit further forward.
Try anything to shift weight forward. Too much weight in the stern, she’ll point the bow to the sky and never get over the ‘hump’ speed.
How heavy is the auxiliary? Is it light enough to store up the front and clamp on if an emergency arises? (Without dropping it overboard…….
) If not, make sure it’s not touching the water at all. Drag is a killer on all boats.

That what its doing pointing to the sky and never plane..
the aux is 52lbs i think that's the only option i have 😊
And no its not touching the water at all

OP, If you take out the extra fuel can and the auxiliary motor - will it get on plane like before?
If yes, you need a smaller pitch prop to accommodate the extra lbs added that the engine has to plow/ push up on plane - If no, you may have spun the rubber hub in the prop...

Either lighten the load or as Speicher suggested, maybe a smaller pitch prop. Good luck.
