Take the Tuff or the Velocity out, and get stuck in some 3-4 footers outrunning a storm; while you have some new riders on the boat.

Then do the same with the 22' Active Thunder.

Then see which boat the new riders want to get back on one day.

I absolutely love the blue one. It's a gorgeous boat. Not so enthused about the $135k base sticker price.

Remember Pats legendary demo rides used to make boat shoppers into boat buyers? Probably will do the same with this pocket rocket.

I looked at that boat when I was at the Miami boat show. Beautiful boats. The blue one was not quite done yet. I thought Pat said he was going to put a 400 on the blue one. I'm thinking after lake x they talked him out of it. The paint is all house of colors. They are sick in the sun! He had a 3rd one being built without the deck, so I could see how it was built like a brick. And that is also why it "only" does 80 mph. Lol My only concern was when I asked Pat how much for the green one he told me 149k yikes! I half jokingly said how about 90 ish? And he said sure, then you can finance the rest! Lol He is a real cool guy to talk to and you can see his passion. I actually decided to not buy another boat, at this time.

I've been on several of those rides. It even get's the Factory Rep's attention on the first couple; and I've probably been in more ATs than anyone beside Pat.

I understand what you are saying but I have also found people love to talk about how well there boats do in the rough and when we go out with the bouy's saying 2-3's everyone hates it.

Sorry but taking that 22 out in 3-4's,,,,,, no fun in any 22 foot boat. Maybe you can talk Pat into taking me out, I don't live far away!.

Just to let you know, I am a 33-37 AT fan. Still love the red one Summerfishy had.

Nobody CHOOSES to take their 22' boat out in 3-4' seas. Note how I stated what I stated above.

Pat built the boat to run around the keys and not worry about anything that may whip up. I've been on the KW PR running the INSIDE and been in 3-4' seas at times.

Swing by Pompano. Bring some Miller Lite, at about 4:30PM. You'll have a good convo with Pat.

Brian, I get what you're saying and you're 100% correct. I'm sure the AT is worthy ocean boat, that's been AT's thing for years. So has excellent fit and finish.
I wouldn't rule out a 21 Superboat in the ocean though. It's also been their thing for years and it's still being shown on the race course today.

I do need to do that some day, and I like Miller light.

21 Superboat, 22 Progression both over 100 as well even with older 300X's
TooStroked's 22 Progression runs over 90 with a 250R...trust me on that
That Active is sexy! Love the color.
Glad to hear it's not Bud Light, but man, they lost it on the dash, but hell yeah, that color is so cool and good looking deck.
