With Joey Sabeeney's Motul Monster 46 Skater team taking a break from the race this year, maybe some other boats will actually have a chance at winning for once. 
The combination of big Sterling power in a 46 Skater has made that team pretty much unbeatable year after year. The unique water conditions of that race are just incredible, unlike anything we ever see here in the U.S. - it makes for some of the greatest offshore racing on earth imo. It's a good thing they have a 130mph top speed limit for the race, or there would probably be some horrific accidents as the boats transition from the smooth protected waters to the open water swells.
