Default Working on the Water

Somehow a day at work ended up in a day on the water. Shooting some video for Engine Builder Magazine and we ended up closing out on the lake! Can't top that.

I'm loving having the boat on a lift. I was on the water Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.....I have more water time in 4 weeks than I got all last year. And for some reason boat is getting faster. 86.6 this week by myself and 85.2 yesterday with 5 guys and their camera gear and it was over 90 degrees out. We were floating while I was showing them Mellencamp's house....a bass tournament must have started and I saw them all running... I said you guys wanna race some bass boats? So we put on a chase with them about 1/4 mile ahead so hopefully we got some good video running them down. And those damn things were scooting, that last one took me a bit to pass.

On that bass boat note....I think I need some boost.

These guys have done some marine coverage in the magazine and on their website with Saris and Crockett....so maybe check it out if you like boat engines.

Having ours on a lift there made us buy on the water when we moved south, they will start redoing it in 6-8 weeks so I can have both boats out back.

Screw the ramp follies!

I am struggling with it not being perfectly clean when I show up. Its not bad to wash and I haven't had bird sh*t or anything like that.
1. Pollen right now which is super easy
2. Spiders. I hate spiders. I have ZERO in my garage, and plenty on the dock.

Anyone have a good spray that works well on the dock?

Peppermint and vinegar 50/50 mix does pretty good. I also go down to dock late at night and spray poison. The combination works good.

The spiders have always been an issue.Like outta control said spray poison late when no one is around. Sounds like you had a great day though, can't complain when working means riding around in the boat!
