Batman Boat Auction
#11
Elliot (one of the most recent owners) ran this boat really well on the OPA circuit. It turns on a dime. He wasn't afraid of running it hard either! I can remember running next to him in Englewood in some pretty big water. Jay Muller was throttling. It was cool having it at the races...the crowds loved that boat.

I remember when it was originally done, one of my airbrush sites did an article on it. The amount of hours into that is amazing.
I thought on the Facebook post they said the current owner died? Maybe, not really sure they were also auctioning a lot of equipment in the same lot.

The original owners were sent up the river (LOL) for Car Warranty fraud stuff.
While I WOULD NOT want to take this boat out on the water, it is/was an amazing piece of art. Should've been hanging on the wall or inside a mall or museum since the day it was completed. Gary Stray killed it on the final results from the original conceptions.

Speaking of being popular, someone should get it and do the kids charity rides in it.
Bet it'd be the only boat they wanted to ride in.

There is no question that boat is a work of Art and I have seen it racing in OPA many times and it was always a big attraction to spectators and especially the kids. I don't know why the Wings would bother anyone, I think that boat was so kool. I am surprised to see it up for Auction and wonder what happened to the owner?
