I have a 2005 concept 36 cuddy that has one trim tab that won’t stay down. I am guessing something is wrong with the hydraulic part of the system. I don’t know what brand it is but it looks cheap. The tabs are also relatively short; guessing around 15 inches in length. Thinking about upgrading to the expensive 380 kplanes. Any thoughts, suggestions, recommendations. This boat rides beautifully when the tabs are operational which is why I am looking at the highest build quality and performance.

I have a 28 Nordic heat and it came with the bennet trim tabs on it....plastic square reservoir and thin metal planes with plastic rams.....Upgraded to 280 K-planes and was one of the best mods I did...have to be careful with them as it will lay the boat down in a heartbeat if you go to far. I only use them when cruising to level out the torque roll and pull them up when I'm running hard. Found them on here used and I will say double check what you are buying. Was told they have "minor corrosion" and showed up in VERY poor condition. Had to heat and beat to get all the pins out and freed up then replace all the pins and bolts. Great mod if you're looking for more tab.
