I’ve got a St marten F13, great boat for the kids, and adults that haven’t grown up

Find an old 17' Mako. Far better ride than a Whaler and less expensive.

Classic Whalers (not bathtub new ones)
A 15 whaler is 15'5
A 17 whaler is 16'4

Yes the beam is about 8 inches difference but the 15 is the more efficient hull

A 15 with a Yamaha F60 (4 stroke) will go 41 MPH before the chine walking starts..

freeboard lower on the 15 though no? I like the 17 as it’s a great standing boat.
