Morning -
Another couple & Jen are on a motorcycle adventure - Crosslake, MN, to Mount Magazine Lodge and back - we’re heading back are staying at Chateau Inn in Branson on Table Rock Lake.
The plan today is to rent a Tritoon - any tips on where to go ? Any restaurants / bars on the water ? What direction do we go to look at homes, scenery, etc …
Thanks
MDS

If you go south of the dam under the 86 hwy bridge the lake goes into Arkansas not much down there, heading up the lake toward the Kimberling city bridge there a few nice places up on the south bluffs, I had a place there few years back but a lot has changed Id check with the locals for eateries on the lake. The COE rules TRL and has a take line ( water set back ) all around the lake so not a lot of water front main channel homes

Pier 28 at Kimberling City is good and on the water. Big Cedar Lodge has the Devil's Pool restaurant and Buzzard Bar...that's just a couple of coves 'down' towards the highway 86 bridge. You can pull into the marina and a shuttle will take you to the restaurant. They are building a new bridge on 86 right next to the old one so...very restricted traffic under the bridge...basically not worth it as there isn't anything of note besides scenery down that way.
If you want to make a roughly 50 mile trip from the dam and go up the James River branch, there's a place called Flat Creek that has a dock and a gentle walk up to the restaurant...world renowned for their fried chicken.
Another 50 mile trip from the dam up the White River branch, heading towards Beaver Lake dam there's a marina called Big M, that has a restaurant called Dock and Eat, good food there.
If you take a jog up the Kings River branch, just past the Shell Knob bridge and go to the Viola marina, there's a nice restaurant called Dockside. That's about 41 milles from the dam. There's also a Pizza Hut by the Shell Knob bridge and THE best sub shop in 17 states called The Submarina, it too has a courtesy dock near the bridge, on the south side instead of the north where Pizza Hut's is.
There's not the type of venues that say, LOTO has on Table Rock, for good or for bad. Personally I like it that way. Meaning the bar scene/party scene. But if you are looking for some quiet cruising and beautiful scenery, Table Rock is great. A lot of homes in the Shell Knob area that is one of the lake 'hot spots' for real estate.

The emerald city as we called it just north of the homes I posted, it looks so out of place like it should be in a Corp office complex, kind a spooky and sits on very large acreage.
