Dreamweaver is pretty easy to learn. They have a very good tutorial. You can go from simple to complex. I got tired of using notepad to write all my html code and was very limited to what I had the time to do.
I would also look at PhotoPost for your images. I bought it because I have thousands of images and it just takes too long to do it all the hard way.
It's the same software used on this board in the photo section. You can get 2 versions, the Pro version which this board uses to allow members to upload their own photos, or the GMS version, (the one I bought) that allows the administrator to upload the photos. I just got mine up and running on JNJ Host.com last night and it works great. Good luck.
