Anyone thinking of selling their F650?

What do you guys with the Sport Chassis do about not having 4WD??
is it an issue at all? Do they have decent traction?
I never use my 4WD but I’m your typical middle aged man who now that I have it I don’t want to do away with it!!
is the CAT motor more desirable or the Merc motor??
im just EBay day-dreaming

The sportchassis weighs more than a pickup. i never missed having 4wd with the two Sportchasis i had. even towing the Formula 400ss.
with my F450 i did use 4wd couple times
i would say Cat motors are the least desirable just because of the expenses

Alot of people don't realize that there's quite a bit of difference between a Class 6 and Class 7 Sportchassis, (usually there's an extra opening at the bottom of the taller grill) just like there are some F650s built to higher standards. I don't have all the differences memorized but not all "medium duty" haulers (especially used) will tow night and day better than a brand new pickup. Besides the fact that they weigh more which helps control the load, some medium duty are absolute garbage budget builds. But you definitely will "look" like a bigger baller!

Yeah, I was talking about a 450 over a 650, not a sport chassis. That sport chassis is badass for sure!

IF I end up with a MDT, and end up with a big boat again, I'll be installed that, or their competitor's product.
Cat or Cummins motors are preferred by most in the MDT "pleasure" trucks. There are a bunch of FB groups for MDTs, and I have a couple diesel mechanic friends. Definitely do NOT want MaxxForce nor Mercedes.

Been tempted to go look at this. Fair price but would rather it have the Cummins.
