If its a step bottom make sure you support it like that.....flat bunks on the stepped hull doesn't support it properly

Just measured mine and they are 16’. 20k lift with a 42 Cig on it.

Now I’m curious and want to measure. I feel like mine are 14 in the back with steps built in then another 4 footer up at the bow. 16k lb lift

The lengths of the bunks don’t matter. It’s more important how they fit the hull where the weight is. Have you ever seen how they move boats around?

With that said, I have a 14K lb Summit Marine lift and its stock bunks are about 14’ long. For the best fit, they recommended that the company that makes the trailer make the bunk for a more custom fit. I called Myco and got some quotes. I think it was around $7.5k.

This is very very important! Match the bunks to the contour of the bottom and the steps or you stress the hull and can potentially crack the contact point and/or warp the hull...

The other major mistake many make is having the transom overhang past the bunks which may lead to a droop in the transom... Aka a hook in it that will affect performance.

My 12,500lb lift has 16' bunks.

Where is the best place to buy bunks and other lift components? My lift is set up for a 38' Vee but I've recently purchased a 31 DCB Cat and need to switch it over - having a hard time finding the wider lift bunks and brackets.
