I cant imagine how boring and hot it must be driving that barge from Destin down to KW. That thing is badass though, would love to know more about it.

Holy crap.......Is that your boat in your profile pic? Were you docked at Bayfront Suites for the races? We stayed there planning on bringing a 38 Hustler (that wasn't ready) so one of our party got a buddy to come stay with a 35 Marlago CC that was docked beside you (if it was you).

I can't believe 2 guys are on that thing while the chopper comes/goes. I understand they need guys on the "ground" to secure it/release it but one wrong move and its going to be another Vic Morrow event.

Its got to be dicey for the pilot too, landing a 6mm chopper on a floating barge! Noticed the chopper didn't even have floats!

thats what i was thinking. i wonder how fast it goes. even from Miami to KW sounds miserable

I was looking and wondered if it has a folding top to at least give them some better shade.

Take a big cooler on that trip back!

I'd guess they tow it behind the yacht.

I dunno, doesn't look to have much freeboard up front. I would think that being towed behind the yacht, at much more than idle, the prop wash would swamp it? Their whole poker run/ event operation is crazy impressive. Which boat does Derrick even drive himself ha?

We saw it at Gilbert’s fueling on the way down wed. They ran it down on its own power. Probably runs 15 mph. 10 hours to get down there.

I saw it fueling Monday at Marathon on the way back.....it was fairly rough getting there so I am guessing they had a fun ride.
