Key West for New Years
 

Business as usual kept us from making it down for the Worlds BUT the idea stayed and instead of cancelling reservations we decided to spend a week at New Year! Pretty Damn excited still!! even though we missed all the OSO partys and crew.
Towing the boat down on the 27th and staying thru 5 Jan.
Anybody have any good sugestions on things to do see and eat and also the best Marina to use.
NewYears Eve is our 9th aniversary, trying to kick the tenth year off with a bang! Suggestions appreciated and will be noted:D :D

What?? Yall must be really burnt out on the Keys to not wanna offer up any ideas. Figured I'd come out with at least one killer resteraunt out of this thread.

I have been for new years twice, keep the boat @ the galleon and be right inthe middle of the street between sloppy's and ricks for the ringing in of the new year.

Also, as far as dinners go.... Kelly Mcgillis restr. is
good but more evpensive. Best Mud slides are at
Lazy Geko accross from Ricks. Sloppys has a Key Lime
shooter that is different and a live web cam so you can
call your friends and wave at them.:D

:D :D :D Now that I think about it, 20 miles before Key West ,
there is a restr. called Mango Mamas that has excellent seafood

we have been staying at the galleon over x-mas and new years....for i don't know how long...same slips:D ....A&B, right next door, is one of the best on the island and my absolute favorite! if our AT is not sold yet, we'll be there for sure...my parrents will be there for sure with "just say no"....my cell # is 734 635 1697 if have any questions or just wana hook up for a drink?

For sure! several! mine is 478-396-2749 planin on a having a blast, last trip out for New Years went to Tahoe pretty siked bout going south and skipping the cold.

Would be great to have nav on board never boated in the Keys! If your willin to slum around in my ride :D :D
