I'm going the pulled manifold route since I don't have access to a crane or a beam at that height capable of supporting 800+ pounds.

Fast forward to current time and the reason I'm replacing the starter is the tech left the nut loose that held the terminal lug to the starter solenoid. The lug is arced all to hell and the end of the terminal lug is burned away.

Now I know why my engine was out of alignment back in July and I found the engine mount bolts were left loose. I couldn't figure out why those bolts were never tightened. Until now...

what shop please.
