Talk about throwing the guy under the bus, particularly given the title of the May 2022 article “Craig Barrie To Steward Donzi Into New Generation” and this comment in that article “Craig is the brand champion for Donzi,” he added. “He has control of it moving forward.”

Year and a half ago, Donzi went from “…..building this now…..” to never heard of again.
New 33 foot Outboard Donzi
Anyone know what happens to an unfinished project (assuming it was underway) when it’s abandoned? I thought this ‘little ZRC” with outboards looked great……..

I'm not sure what you're looking for. Dirt? Not going to happen. People get hired and fired every day. They talk a lot during the hire, but are quieter when things don't go as planned This situation is far from unique.
As for not biting "the hand that feeds us," Donzi is not an SOTW advertiser and Fountain advertises sparingly, though we are grateful for the support. But to imply we missed something in this story due to protecting ad revenue isn't correct.

Push back in what way? Craig Barrie refused to say anything negative about Donzi or Iconic, and Fred Ross refused to say anything negative about Craig Barrie. For the record, Craig is a longtime friend. We go back a bit.
