I have to admit. I'm one of those guys that thinks bad about pontoon boats. Especially those with stupid hp. But if it's good enough for you to praise it. And for Mr Thomlinson to like it. I might have to keep a more open mind about them. Lol

I hear you—not all that long ago I had a similar take on pontoons. But this thing was just plain fun.

Bill has put a ton of time into helping Avalon with the high HP setups, has experimented with jack plates and lots of prop testing and setups. He has also spent a ton of time developing his dealership models, which is why he is successful.

Personally, I don't care how fast a pontoon goes, I don't like them. There's just no style. I don't stand there and say, wow, that's a great looking pontoon boat.

Here's one (not an Avalon) for sale, ready to go with a pair of 450s. It runs 70+. I know the own has something else in the works, but he also plans to go look at this Avalon with the 500s, as they are also bringing it to the Virginia Beach boat show.
