I am considering repowering my 2016 Skater 31 with 700 SCI/--Arensons. I have been on the search for low hour 450r's Fresh water/ with warranty. My engines are in the 175 hour range and have been prefect ,but I am a outboard guy and I hate the constant maintence---plus I like the idea of a warranty. I think my combos are worth $65K or so...... $90-100K for two new 450s while they last and a little less for the 400Rs. $140K or so for 500Rs---would be great but not for 50K extra.
Why havent we seen any Cats with 400Rs? 40 lbs total more then the V6 version?
Thoughts?

400s certainly look good new price wise at just over half the cost of a 500R.
