Was planning on going to Ft Myers to see the races but now that’s not going to happen. Had reservations at the new Margaritaville hotel on the beach. Anyhow, thinking about going to Englewood now. Never been there. Looking to get opinions on the race venue, area, beach, restaurants, etc. Is it worth going ? Also looking for a nice hotel to stay at. Not that concerned about price since I don’t vacation that much so I’ll spend a little if I have to. Hotel close to or on the beach and close to the race course would be great. Thanks for any suggestions

Stay at the Wanna B Inn or a VRBO near the pits. Partying isnt as wild as key west but the racing is epic. Awesome locals too. You'll have fun. We bring 20-30 people every year with our team

Thanks for the information Team Saris. Can I watch the races from Wanna B, don’t really want to travel to see them. Prefer to walk out my door and on the beach. Also, what days does the racing actually take place on. Thanks again, the Wanna B looks nice and got some good reviews

cant guarantee it but turn 1 is usually right in front of the wanna b. racing sat and sunday

Thanks, booking my room tomorrow for Fri Sat Sun, Gulf View. Even if I have to walk a little on the beach to get a good viewing spot, it’s better than driving. Appreciate your help and good luck this season. I’ll be watching the Atlantic City races in June
