I used ChemicalGuys HydroSlick ceramic/wax hybrid, and am very pleased with the results. Pretty much the same gloss you will get from full ceramic (to my 53yo eyes, at least), and I finished a 28' in less than a day.
Short of something like that, Maguire's QuikDetailer seems to work well enough for regular detail work.
Thanks. Brad.

Here's my take and has worked on many boats we have bought then sold in the past and the new owners always had good feed back on how easy it is to keep them clean. We have always had any boat we owned wet sanded and buffed completely then 2 coats of wax applied. Meguiars ultimate paste has always worked great for us. Then we always wiped the boat down with a good detail spray after loading on the trailer. Meguiars wash and wax is our go to. After that the boat got hand washed when we got home. All of our boats stayed looking like a mirror and doing this kept them very easy to clean up. Also every few weeks I alway do a quick hand wax. It sounds like a lot to do but once you've got the first round done, its minimal time each week to keep everything looking good.
