Trim the drive so the propshaft is parallel to the bottom and then measure how deep the propshaft is below the hull.

The Challenger shop for assembly and rigging was in Cedar Springs, MI but if I remember correctly their molds were further north..Ludington sorta rings a bell, but could've been up in the Onekema/Frankfort area as well..that was a long time ago. Mike Bowers and his son Sean (sp?) were the Challenger guys and had a few running around MI that would really go, especially back in that era... I'm not on Facebook or other social media but if you could track either of those guys down - if they're still alive - they probably could answer your questions...might also search for Challenger owners group or similar. Their 22 (AeroTech ?) and their 24 and 28 Super V hulls surprised a lot of guys with "name" boats back in the day when they went around them... Good Luck d |

propshaft is about 7,1/4" below the bottom, seems deep to me.
