Swim Ladder
Looking at some Cigarette 39 and 42 Top Guns. Does anyone know of a decent ladder that would work? With the staggered setup on both used boats there are no ladders. We just moved to LOTO and my wife loves to swim! We are also retired and are not near as agile as we used to be. This could be a deal breaker on me having to buy a Center Console.
Please help me lol. Thanks, Jeff |

Please help me lol. Thanks, Jeff Tell her that if she can't learn how to step up the outdrives, you're just gonna have to trade her in on a newer model. :angry-smiley-038: In all seriousness.... That's what I do, especially if I've managed to jump in without putting our ladder down first. As for a ladder, I don't have any GOOD advice for you. Thanks. Brad. |
One of our clients has one on his 42x, ill see what it is.
As for climbing, a lot safer on a bravo boat than something with NXT/M6 drives and cleavers. |

That's definitely the platform. He added a fold up ladder on the port side. Doesn't quite match the look of the rest of the platform but to the OP's questions...it get's his wife out of the water.

I am pretty careful, though, as I still don't want to slip and come down on the trailing edge of these Bravo props, either. I'd say it would still lay you open pretty bad. I will also say it was a lot easier on our Rinker than it is on the PQ. A ladder is definitely the better option, and one of these days, I'll probably learn why. :( Thanks. Brad. |
At first, they would only sell these to manufacturers. Now it looks like you can buy them retail and install yourself. Slick setup.
