100%. I had a 27pitch prop I couldn`t get past 4500 because of the crazy cup. Usually ran 29`s to 6200.

You`re almost to 100MPH I know how that is tryuing to get to that third digit! lol

I’m fairly confident I’m there in ideal conditions. Give me a slight chop and a tailwind and the speedo is going to run out of numbers. I’d rather Mother Nature help me from here and not my check book😊

I have a 98mph boat! I've now performed several pulls in different water conditions and I always get stuck at 98. I'm not complaining but was assuming conditions would solve my quest, not so! No way around it, you pay for performance:ernaehrung004:

Are you spinning your props in or out?

I have a set of Hydromotive 4 blades labbed by BBlades to 27 1/2 or 29 1/2 if anyone is interested. These were 4 mph faster on the Velocity compared to Bravo 1 standard 30’s. Bravos were 88mph and Hydro 92mph WFO. From my experience the Hydro’s run better above 4,500 rpm with Bravo’s being much better from idle to a fast cruise speed at least on the pad bottom.

You might try swapping your props to see if spinning in will get that third digit. iIRC spinning in will give more stern lift and loosen things up a little.

For daily use on the Velocity the Bravos win- much easier planing and low speed handling.
