That’s how we did it with Our Rinker. The rear pole fit between the rear bench seat cushion and the seat back, and it had carpet on the floor, so the front pole stayed in place well enough. I tried going the “tight” route in our PQ, but I had so tight I was starting to worry about stress on the snaps and it would still find its way out on occasion. This harness allows me to have it tight enough it doesn’t really flap around too much, and the pole still can’t find its way out from under the cover.
