Looks super nice!!

They did build a 30' sport deck with outboards before as well.

Bingo!

We are doing a full weekend on our 25 foot Checkmate at Lake Erie this weekend.

A well done thirtyish boat of similar style, outboard powered would be tough to beat!

As your post says, it would check a lot of boxes.

And twin 400’s would probably make it a 90 mph boat.

Looking forward to the full story on the boat.

I was in their factory when they were finishing the first 30’.

Had some cool design ideas but I thought gave up a lot of space at the transom.

I remember it had a reputation as a hopper when it first came out and don’t think they built many.

A walk through transom would be huge.

I think the new motors have far less exposed rigging than my spider web at the platform as well!

The beam on 32 open lists at 8’, does it look like they are using same mold?

Velocity is building/selling a lot more outboard sport boats than CC's. They have even did a few I/O's recently.

I should have been clearer, they have always done well in the smaller sportboat market (26-28 whatever) but the 41 OB boat seemed to take a long time to sell despite it being a great looking boat!

Love it! I think at one time Sunsation spoke of doing the same thing with their 32 Dominator but it never came to fruition.
