Default Lexan windshield protection

Got a quick question! What do you guys use for windshield protection when towing? I have a Statement with a lexan windshield and we will be towing it 750 miles one way soon. Last time I used a product called Armor Guard. Although it worked good, it left lots of residue that was difficult to remove. I have looked at Dr Shrink Wrap but wondering if there is something really good out there that I’m missing. Thanks guys.

I've used track Armour before. If you put it on dry there was no residue in my experience. Put it on wet like a real sticker there is residue. It looks like crap for the ride but gets the job done

I've used this for paint protection when I've put my race car in the engine shop. Just make sure have the lexan clean and you should be fine. I recommend a product called "bead maker" to keep the lexan clean and slick.
Or you can use Kevin Schulte's product: https://a.co/d/idlC8tw (He's a member here.)

DO NOT leave the plastic on there longer than needed. And especially not in the sun. That's the ticket to getting stuff off without residue.
