Default Transom Replacement

I was wondering how you keep the shape of the hull intact when you replace a waterlogged transom.
I know a few of the members have done their own and or maybe Glass Dave could explain how that is accomplished.
Just curious at this point I do not have a need at this time.

Go to the Fiberglass and Paint forum section. Lots of threads on transom replacement.
