Is there any law stating authorities have to be notified if something like this happens? Boat held up pretty damn good for that rock embankment.

I agree. No injuries or property damage, so I am not certain why the WP would be called.

Well if there’s a picture of it in daylight, and it happened in the middle of the night, it sat there for at least a few hours and the policia didn’t get to it. That would make me think they weren’t in a hurry to check it out.

Most states have laws that if the damage is “significant” (some have a dollar amount) that it shall be reported (even if it’s your own vehicle). Who said there were no injuries? It’s not known because everyone bounced. Then there’s the theory that single vehicle collisions are usually alcohol related. Then there’s the endless waterway laws that I’m almost absolutely positive some law was broken. Off the top of my head - traveling at a safe speed for waterway conditions.

if the owners smart he goes and contacts water patrol and explains, he, sober as a judge, dropped his phone, swerved, hit shore. No one hurt, drug boat off and dealt with it. Done and done. Easy peasy.

I wouldnt admit to driver inattention or using/operating a mobile device etc etc while operating a motor veh/vessel etc etc

more like a fish jumped out in front of me and i swerved to avoid it.

they don’t. Anything that happens at loto and lake expo gets involved becomes drama. They do absolutely no research and regurgitate anything people post. I’m suprised they havnt been sued out of business

Why would he need an explanation at all , this isn`t Russia, yet.
He has the right to remain silent. I would exersize that right because anything he says can and will be used against him.
