Very cool, it's about time one of the manufacturer's did something really different with the new big-hp outboard power available. Skater has been advertising options for 4-engine outboard power on their larger models on their website for a few years now but haven't had any customers opt for it. Kudos to Trond for taking the risk and building an all-new model specifically for this configuration.

I like this boat, and I have always liked the Nor-Tech brand their design and product lineup.

Peter: To adjust the hull on our outboard model, we moved the beginning of the second step 1.6 inches backwards to make the step slightly shorter. Then we moved the fuel tanks forward. And of course the stringers have a different layup schedule.

Trond: Our outboard model has a flushing toilet.

Donzi did this several years back, but only ended up making one. Assuming Nor-Tech will have much better success, as their marketing is better and they have plenty of cat building history/ experience.

It is a neat design, but having quads 500's will burn more fuel than the 1,100's.

But you have more room, something most of the outboard cats don't seem to take advantage of.

Honestly it's nice to have something new and different! Its just Good for the sport!

I'm sure Mercury will come out with a 550R or something and by then this model will be dialed in a little better and might only need two.

But remember as a kid looking to see if a boat had triple engines! This is sorta like that!

Quite the quote “It’s honestly the first outboard-powered cat over 30 feet long I’ve ever been impressed with."
