Default Reasons for NTTL

Rob, from your house you would take I70 and just head West. And then head some more west amd on and on etc. When you get to St Louis you head west some more. LOTO is south of I70 about dead in the middle of the state. In other words you can see Kansas, Toto. It is truly a beautiful area but not much different from here.

Top ten reasons I won't tow to LOTO

1 Heather won't be waiting for me.
2 You know how much chit can break on a trailer on that trip?
3 No offense to anyone, but I'd rather do Havasu
4 Roads are all named HH or FX or TB, hard for me to navigate. (county roads that is)
5 Your wakes would sink my 23
6 I can be in Florida easier and quicker
7 I've already been to MO {Columbia, great city}
8 I'd rather go to Lake Gaston
9 I'd rather go to Lake George
10 I'd rather go to OBX

Too Old, you have some great lakes in your beautiful state why not start a tradition for the east coast somewhere? In just a few years Miss Bud would be there at our shootout. After all, thats how LOTO and Havasu got started.

A great idea Brian, I just meant that I wouldn;t do it, I certainly think it would be one hell of a week for you guys and gals that go.

As stated above, LOTO is just about dead center of the state of Missouri. It is about 100 miles or so south of I-70 on state highway 54. As for the road names being kinda strange (kinda?? LOL!!) you don't need to use any of them to get there. You may need to use ONE to get to your hotel/condo but that's it.

Unfortunatly I will not be able to make it for the 4th. I know, I know.....you'll all miss me and cry in your beer because I'm not there....but I already go down for Mem. Day and the Shootout......just can't afford a 3rd trip down.

Norty, I'm callin you chicken!! You're yella!!!! Scared you might actually like it and have a great time!!!!

As for doing it another weekend, shootout would be my vote.

Mike

I liked this idea at first, but then got to thinking how hard it is to get everyone together at the cove, even when we all come in at the same time! Meeting at Salty Dog, or Topsiders, or somewhere like that sounds like a great idea.
My only other question would be, You may lose a couple of boats due to July 4th is usually a race weekend. I realize you can't schedule a weekend that will work for everyone, so I'll work with whatever y'all decide.
Just throwing out some ideas...
