Danimal- give the Bravo 1 28’s a try as they should be pretty close. I also have a 320 and for overall use prefer the Bravo 1s over the Hydromotive. I have several sets of props and the Bravo’s are a couple mph slower than my Hydro IV’s but they are much better in handling, planing, and cruising.

What speed and rpm are you running with the 280?

Ran 68 at 5000ish (on tach) any day of the week. Would run 70 in good conditions. Best run was 74 with light fuel.

looks like your hull with 26 @5000 at 74 with 1.5 gear ratio you have 10% slip. I don’t think the 320 with 496s will do well with 28s. 26s or have it labbed to a 27 would be what I would run. hydromotives get good bite and low slip numbers Best of luck
