There are many reasons for the horrible water quality. Fingers get pointed in all directions which puts us in a position of "paralysis by analysis". In other words, nothing gets done. The largest impact, by far, is the CC/Ft Myers area, along with areas surrounding. Most people north of Punta Gorda, South of Naples and east of 75 really don't care that much, as it does not directly affect them........... for now. I believe that most politicians do not bring it up as there are far more voters not concerned with it, as there are concerned. Until it impacts them directly there will be little cause for concern. The day that it does impact the majority, things may be so far gone that repairs could literally take decades.

We are glad that we had the time that we had in SWFL, but by the same token we are very happy that we are divested. We still care, though, and that is why I feel it important to share.

You have the right to express your libtard political views, but there are many better places to buy sugar from than the oppressive communist regime in Cuba.
Cuba isn’t any more oppressive to their people than China and that doesn’t stop any nation from doing business with them.

There are lots of restrictions already put in place on trade with China. Just google for Huawei. Or Trump.

As to Cuba, I know you progressives love that place

First off I am far from being a progressive Libtard.

Been to Cuba a bunch , my dads best friend was a Cuban political escapee that the US coast guard picked up and threw in Guantanamo for years . The trade restrictions the US has placed on Cuba are only hurting the citizens.

Some interesting videos for those thinking about investing in Southwest Florida. These videos go back 10 years, these are just recent ones. Very little has been done to help:
