what props, gear ratio.............might want to prop down in order to raise the rpm's.Im running 4B also
Curious why nobody runs e85… I wish places like lake havasu or Parker had stations… so many people would utilize it. More boost, more cylinder pressure, and less prone to pre-det

Because it's hard to get on the water and you lose quite a bit of range running it.

There was a group of people in the Mid West who figured out how to run E85 in outboard engines 20 years ago. Steve Heinz (RIP) was one of them. Have not heard much about it since.
Over here, we have a pair of Whipple-tuned Mercury 1075s in a Nor-Tech running E85 and outputting in the 1500 hp neighborhood. At idle, make the entire marina smell like sitting next to a drunk on the subway.

I ran a GM Flex Fuel sensor and Holley tune.
Like a car I could mix any percentage or regular fuel amd E85 and it would compensate. I found anything over 30% E85 was deminishing returns.
The IAT`s dropped significantly with E85.
It was a great set up.
