We got back last night. I really didn't take as much photos as I usually do. Trying not to have my phone in my hand all the time lol. But there's a few. We had a good trip over all. Just hard to go from Super Cat Fest West two weeks ago, which is a super chill event to Desert Storm that is just chaotic on and off the water. Still great weekend though. Whelp, boats tucked away were back home and it’s back to work tomorrow. Had a good weekend. But I remember why I stopped going to the Desert Storm poker run 4 years ago. Wasn’t going to go this year but kids had spring break and were begging to go so, off we went.

why did I stop going? It’s a total sh*t show. Crowded EVERYWHERE the lake is packed all weekend and I couldn’t even get into the channel yesterday it was grid lock. Not really my scene anymore. The street party is maybe the only draw and it’s also just a mess of people. Reminds me of walking a Friday night at the county fair, super packed. Still good to see lots of People. We ran up to pirates up river Friday and hung out up there for a while. Saturday we went with some friends and found a quiet cove and just chilled all day.

Saturday night the wind was blowing, nightmares trying to get the boat in the slip, so we ended up docking sideways and walking it in. After we tied up dude in a new DCB M37 having same issue so I told him to do the same and we walked him in then we’re sitting in the cabin of our boat having a cocktail and BAM! boat gets hit. Run up, dude in the dock next to us was coming in in one motor and the wind pushing him all over his bow but my bow. I jump out and first help him get his 38 Baja onto the slip then go look for damage. Guy was super cool told me he’ll give me all him info and pay for damages but I’m looking at it and I can’t see anything so I just told him all good, you got enough problems getting a motor fixed. Lol.

Didn’t take very many pics but did get a lot of coverage of us which was cool. Ran with the helicopter last night and pretty sure zip zap filmed us Friday after noon. Anyway. Only pics I got
from yesterday. Handful of cigs there including biggus’ old gun, couple 42X’s couple Tigers (both listed for sale now I believe) the virgin F2 boat and hit for teacher. Didn’t get a chance to run with any of them though. .
