Default Has anyone else NOT been on the water yet?

Crazy year...high water at Table Rock coupled with cooler than normal temps and exacerbated by a hectic work schedule have meant I still have to put the boat on the water! Anyone else?

I haven't even thought about boating yet. I farm 2500 acres and can usually get to the lake by early June but this yr I'm shooting for mid July. We were dry as a bone early this yr but just about the time we were ready to plant the rains came and it hasn't stopped.

Nope super busy at work, restoring 1977 scarab, doing a mini refit on my 89 Bayliner 2755, had to replace oil cooler which of course means water manifolds off(thank goodness their aluminum) also ditching the carb and putting on my old commander 950 Efi system sooooo hopefully early July for test and tune with the Efi

Oh of course I forgot the 496 in the Bayliner need o2 plates in between risers, new plugs, wires, yearly compression test, oil change, and maybe put on the two piece valve covers I got from a guy on this site, always have trouble with aluminum heads and valve covers to riser fitment, and a couple other things that escape my memory

Negative here. Had bicep surgery in April which set everything back. I pulled the boat out , uncovered and cleaned it a few days ago but haven't splashed it yet. Hopefully next week.

Unfortunately I'm in the same boat. Rains every weekend and our lake has been high and polluted with logs from all the runoff. I've never been in mid June and still dry docked, comforting to hear i'm not alone.......

Beautiful day out on Lake Michigan today! Sunny, no wind, 1/2 foot chop.
Oops, wrong thread...

Get out there!
