Default Turbine Extreme Pertzye Fun Run

Last weekend the Team Pertzye held a small get together at Tiki Lees on the Chesapeeke. Not widely publicized with originally only 20 or so boats, there ended up being over 50 boats! The Team brought in the Turbine Mystic Extreme and the 46 Skater. Other notables were various twin engine outboards, Outerlimits bad boys , Cigarettes, Activators, MTIs and Skater. Team Pertzye provided free food, tee shirts and even contracted a helicopter for video coverage. The weather held out and it was a day to remember!

Following video we were letting the Turbines Eat a lil. Full fuel, 4 on board, no Go Baby Go button engaged, 194 mph on Dashboard garmins ( same speed recorded on shakedown 2). Needless to say I believe our tweaking has been successful in regards to stability. Enjoy!

That is incredible, 194 mph on a weekend outing! Thank you for sharing the video and update, that is an impressive get together of hot-rods on a September day in Maryland.

Default One Word “Balanced”

The tweaking of the Pertzye Turbine Extreme by the new owner has yielded an offshore boat that handles like nothing else I’ve ever experienced. Rock solid, stable and Balanced! Prior to this run we performed NDE ( Non destructive examination) on the New, only 1 run, Titanium props. A comprehensive VT (visual Test) was performed and 2 metal fatigue cracks were found on the blade and the hub. Props were then repurposed as Christmas Tree Ornaments.

Video with our fantastic chopper pilot reminiscent of the Legend Jeff Girardi Days! Damm video looks like I sped it up but it’s real time. Enjoy!

Chances that that hull returned to the US is a stretch. And I would question if it was the first gen cat killer. I’ll retract my original statement. Don’t want to spread fake news. Nevertheless, the fountain in question was running super hard and eventually grenaded the starboard motor on the way back to the Marina.
