Default Sunsation’s Last Sportboat Stand

From 2010 and 2015, the 36 Dominator was the life-blood of Sunsation Boats, https://www.speedonthewater.com/suns...ortboat-stand/

Cool article. Isn’t it crazy to think though how the closed deck sportboat v-bottom style boats (Baja, fountain, Sunsation, etc.) were absolutely everywhere and I mean everywhere up to that early 2010’s era and then they quickly went away as far as new builds go. Sunsation is a cool company and I’m glad for them they were able to re-establish who they were to keep progressing forward, that’s hard to do.

Interesting, I've never even seen a 36 Dominator. The 2000s 32 Dominators were seen out here on the West Coast during that time period, but never a 36.

Yep...It is a fish boat world. But Sunsation made some beautiful "sports" boats!

Great model, and an important historical account article of Sportsboats vs. Center Consoles in the boating market. Thanks, Matt.

Interesting article. I was visiting a buddy of mine that lives in Marine City, MI. On my way home, much to my surprise, I went right past the Sunsation factory in Algonac, MI.

Not many of those made. They just never took off, went to light weight OB cats and multiple OB (3-6) CC's.
