Where I'm at we (HRPA) are in the Chesapeake Bay, Atlantic, Elizabeth River, James River, intercoastal waterway and Broad Bay (inland body of water Va. Bch) most of the time on the same day. Should I have checked other instead of Chesapeake Bay?.....:)

Barnegat Bay (1)
Atlantic Ocean (2)

Ratchet 12-11-2002 08:39 AM

boatfreak 12-11-2002 09:00 AM

Guys I've got one for you, you can find my Thunder on a little pond named Monroe Reservoir outside Bloomington In. on most Sundays. If I get a weekend off it's Cumberland.

Clay Washington 12-11-2002 10:24 AM

I live in Texas and I boat in Texas.

Next question...

puder 12-11-2002 11:59 AM

the water...........

Sydwayz 12-11-2002 12:07 PM

Unfortunately I am making motor noises in the bathtub more often than anything else since I am not fortunate to live where you do not have to winterize, and can boat everyday by living right on the water.

"401K? What 401K?" You can't take it with you. I will be there as described above one day.

Dave M 12-11-2002 01:49 PM

offshore score 12-11-2002 05:44 PM

I do not how you have so much fun in LOTO with only 7 boats:confused: I know, 7 boats 500 girls:D :D

Tom 12-11-2002 09:59 PM

If I go back to my earliest days of boating and count the total time in the water, I would have to say the bathtub wins hands down. The tidy bowl man got a new red boat when I was a kid and I was hooked on bathtub boats ever since.

MitchStellin 12-11-2002 10:39 PM

In my imagination. :D It is damn cold here :D

tfairweather 12-11-2002 11:01 PM

Do you ever get down to Brookville Reservoir? My family lives in the western Ohio/eastern Indiana area (I went to High School at East Central High in Dearborn County, IN). Each year when I go back I trailer my boat (Sunsation 288) to Ohio an take my brothers out for some fun on the Ohio River and local lakes/reservoirs with Brookville being one of them. I remember when they had to move graveyards to flood the valleys there when the dam was going up....

Now that you got that Velocity I better see Atlantic Ocean(1) and Barnegate Bay(2)

Reckless32 12-12-2002 10:00 AM

It's no surprise the Great Lakes is leading the pack. I read where Michigan had the largest number of registered boats in the nation...Not bad for such a cold climate area...

dencam7 12-12-2002 01:14 PM

I trailer all over . I do the Ohio river the most, Putt-in -bay, Cleveland (The Flats), Erie PA( Presque Isle),went up the Detroit river. Cumberland to hang out at the poker run and inland lakes. Love to Trailer and B.S. with other boaters!!! :D

OBNOXUS21 12-12-2002 01:23 PM

How about the Mississippi
I second that. There is allot of performance boating going on, on the old Miss.

Allan4 12-18-2002 09:36 PM

Reckless, a bunch of Cincy guys do Brookeville on a regular basis. Nice lake. We usually hit the river though. Brookeville is only about 45 minutes from my house, but the river is only about 5 minutes from my house!!!

I think I will put in my vote for the mighty Ohio River to be the most scenic boating venue...........;) :D :D

tripps 12-19-2002 07:21 PM

GREAT SOUTH BAY on L.I. 100 miles of nice water ,plenty of hot boats and bars :D :D :D and 5 ocean access inlets tripps
