Please respond here or in the Racer's Roundup section and we'll see what happens

Ted, the RPBA would be happy to get involved somehow. I'm not sure how many racers we would have, but we'd be there for support.
BTW - There used to be a race here in Richmond that was called the Rudee Run. It left Richmond, went all the way down the James, across Va Beach, into Rudee Inlet, and back. I think that would be about 200 miles. More of an endurance run than anything else...

Cignificant....
that type of race is great for the racers, but it is not really spectator friendly. I think what we are trying to do here is bring in the spectators, put on a show and attract local sponsorship to the events. If the spectators cant see the race from land, they wont come. If they dont come, they dont spend money. If they dont spend money, the sponsors dont come. If the sponsors dont come, theres no $$$ to put on the show. See where Im goin with this???
But keep the ideas coming, they are all welcome.
