IMOP It`s a good looking boat that still goes 140+ SAFELY. I think the 3600 and 4000 speedster are both good-looking boat that go fast . I make under 1100hp.

Making a narrower tunnel with less compression isn`t going to make a cat look bad. but if speed is your thing then a 390X is for you . Good luck with that.
Love the look of that new quad Nortech!

Also, I believe the Doug Wright 39 has the exact same size tunnel width as the 390x. The 390x hasn’t posted speeds near what the DW39 and others are running.

I hate to say it but I love my Bayliner, 1989 2755 pulled the skanky ford and cobra drive, put my tall deck 496 aluminum heads roller cam Holley commander 950 Efi, Volvo penta dp with 1.78 gears. sure not the best made boats but use it for boat camping and touring lakes and ocean, handles great has good inside space for size, not a formula but they are ok

Sad to hear. Prayers for the families. Wish a full recovery to the survivor.

Love the look of the Nortech cats. Especially the 3600. Liked them since they first came out. To me it has a very aggressive, fast, pissed off look to it sitting still.

Nor-Tech cats look great.

While I am not a fan of humps I think the hump on a Nor-Tech looks much better than the hump on an MTI.

there is a lot of talk on this thread about making some sort of computer controlled trim for cats. Every fast cat I have been in is trimmed negative always. The faster you go the drives are trimmed down not up like a v bottom. In my experience there wouldn’t much adjustment to tighten it up. Boats like dirty duck in shootout they are trimmed as far down as it will go

True. I’m always fully trimmed in at WOT.

I think this was about wings popping out or something, though.

390's ride slightly less than neutral --- Bow high. No doubt about it they are a drivers boat.

DW's, at least the 360s, are ran negative.
