Big thunder going huge is a stretch. It’s sad when a new cigarette has to be delivered there and instantly goes to performer boat center to get sold!

Well, it was PBC that made the choice not to make a financial committment with Cigarette and then Cig went to BTM.
PBC also has some very loyal customers who only want to buy, sell and trade with them.

The "noise" of 75 Cigarettes rolling up the lake is amazing. Almost better yet, you can feel the rumble of all of those big blocks. Better than most of the Poker Runs with the quiet outboards.

Was over 100 at PBC :poopoo:

Not surprised, PBC use to have such a great event and for a lot of us that’s a long ass tow to attend
hard to go that far for a mediocre event

Nobody can do a run like PBC.

Spot on, I appreciate BTM doing the run last year. It was just a lot more low key and the weather kind of sucked too. It's hard to compete with PBC on hosting with their connections to other places on the lake along with having an outstanding place on the water to host!

It takes a real nucleus to attract people from all over the country like PBC does. I think that Mark and Brett pull permits on the majority of their runs as well. I totally get Brett wanting to support the customer/brands that they sell currently-they had the chance to jump back in with Cigarette and passed on it. The multiple runs that they host currently along with their Thursday night shootout party are great and some our most cherished days each year.

Outsider looking in it probably was a good move for PBC not making a financial commitment with Cigarette and the new owners. If the new owners had a past in boat building it would have been a different story. Look at all the big three chasing Musk, dealers that were forced to participate in the EV movement that Flopped. Similar situation IMO.

"Huge" was in regard to the volume of events they have planned, which is significant.
