New laws E-Bikes

Those consequences look good on paper...but try and catch a fast e-bike first! Not like someone who knows they are breaking the law is gonna stop just because the cops are trying to pull them over...

But you’re absolutely right, no doubt there will be E bike riders that will try to jet from the police and will potentially get away! The only people that seem to escape the police, hypothetically, are not on e bikes or automobiles, but are on a Hayabusa or Ninja, hypothetically…

I think the biggest problem is not the e-bikes or the laws, it is the fact that people are all horrible, rude and inconsiderate. but that is just my opinion but then I live out in the country where I cant see any neighbors.

BINGO- Most of the people today just don't give 2 Fuks about anyone but themselves.
Don't even have the common courtesy to hold a door for the person behind them. Let alone respect for any LEO.
Unfortunately it ALL has to do with Upbringing and your parents teaching you right, wrong and the Do unto others.
The world is going down the chitter fast. And I will be at the Lake watching it implode.

[/QUOTE]All part of the destruction of the family unit system.
E-bikes need to be speed limited and registered/licensed if they're over a certain weight. It comes down to what level of destruction can these create if used in an unsafe manner?
Scooters are also an large issue...and more likely to be used on sidewalks.
