The Avanti does 80
The Benz does about 140+
the home stereo does 135 db
and my mountain bike does 32.......
As for the male nurse thing.... been doing hospice for 10 years...killing people pays the bills. Saving lives is just too much damn work.

yea I just looked you up and seen you haven’t posted much since your mothers passing . You should be onboard with dad for that adventure, what does he have for a trawler ?

Heidi wants to do the Great Loop. I have a customer that keeps begging me to buy his Mainship. It’s been in a pole barn for 18 years. In excellent condition. I would have to cut trees down to get it out of his driveway. Maybe a retirement project?

Where is it located ? Diesel ? There’s already soo many well cared for older boats for sale that I bet if you offered them 50 cents on the dollar they would jump on it.

My experience out at one of the last of the do it yourself boat yards in south Florida is the older folks are getting out of it after decades in and young people aren’t buying big boats.

Boats that need major work from neglect just aren’t worth the time as you get older especially if you can buy a similar well cared for freshwater boat.

sadly my customer is not in very good shape. He would give me the boat. It is a diesel with very low hours. He has a cool cabin he lives in, he built in the late 80’s. His road is in suck bad shape it would cost me $5000.00 to make it passable. Pretty smart old guy. If I took the boat he would get a fixed up road. LOL
