Any old school dudes still here?

I’m not as old school (or old) as a lot of these guys but coming up on 20 years of OSO.
Crazy to think I’ve been checking out this website every day basically for two decades, but it’s been a great ride. Wish there was more activity like in the old days but I guess all seasons come and go. Still very appreciative of the help and knowledge on here.
joined because I wanted to buy an old SeaRay Pachanga. Glad I found my way to my Cafe Racer instead.

You know what was / is great about this place. The fact that actual industry people were on here all the time. Boat builders, performance shop owners, big dealers, well known interior people, specialty parts, in the mix with the average joes like me. You can’t do that on social media because all social media is full of haters. Plus, social media is scattered. This place was a hub of like minded individuals that could BS online in between seeing each other across the country at events. This site was responsible for bringing everyone together. Pretty cool when you think about it. It’s still here. And I know for a fact industry people still check in. It’s slowed down but this place ain’t dead yet. 27/28 years later (I remember the online boat sales bulletin board this place started as in 98ish) still going. Kinda cool.
carry on.

I agree too but I also realize that those are about all that's left and I enjoy reading a fair number of those. I wish I could check in every evening and find a new thread about someone's adventures or project but the fact is that's just not happening.
