Got this in the mid 90's at a restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale I believe was called Sloop John B. Was racing Karts and SCCA at the time and was looking at the large pics of these race boats on the walls in this place and a man came by to ask us how our food was and we struck up a conversation about the race boat pics on the walls. I knew nothing about boat racing coming from asphalt, long story short he later came back with this pic. Framed it and its been at LOTO in our condo for awhile and I really can't remember the full story here. Can't find any info on this place or him. Any ideas? TIA

From what I know Ted was the owner who raced with his brother Rick. Pretty sure Everglades Marina was home base as Tres Martin was the throttleman. Pretty sure there was a 41’ Apache, not sure if it was a pleasure or race, my guess it was a pleasure and he got bitten by the bug and moved up to the 47 Apache and then ont the 47 and 43 canopied fountains… got this one hanging on my wall… one of my favorite boats when I was a kid!
